What a real drawing looks like

Individual numbers are fair. Combinations are not shaped the way people pick them. 10,397 drawings of the current 5/36 game.

The individual numbers in Fantasy 5 are fair — we tested that. Combinations are a different matter. A drawing produces five numbers at once, and the shape those five make together follows very regular patterns. Not because the machine prefers them, but because there are far more ways to build a spread-out combination than a bunched one.

Sum

Add the five numbers. Across 10,397 drawings the average is 92.5, and about 69% of all drawings land between 70 and 115. A ticket summing to 30 or to 160 is not forbidden; it is just something the game has almost never done.

Odd and even, high and low

Five numbers split into odd and even, and into the low half (1–18) and high half (19–36). Perfectly lopsided tickets are rare in real drawings:

Two-three or three-two accounts for 66.3% of drawings by odd/even and 65.5% by high/low. All five on one side happens about 4.7% of the time.

Spread and runs

Note the fourth line especially. Nearly half of all real drawings contain a consecutive pair, which is the pattern people most often avoid on purpose because it "doesn't look random".

What we do with this

Woozul scores a combination's shape against these distributions and reports it as a percentile of the real record: 1-2-3-4-5 scores 0, a typical real drawing scores in the 40s or 50s. It is a way to see whether a ticket looks like the kind of combination the game actually produces. It is a description of the past, not a prediction, and a well-shaped ticket wins exactly as often as a badly shaped one.

Where the data comes from

Florida Lottery official Fantasy 5 results, 13,254 draws from 1989-05-02 to 2026-08-10, validated for completeness and tagged by matrix era and draw type. The figures on this page are produced by a script that runs against that record, so they can be recomputed from the same source at any time. Last updated September 22, 2026.

What this does not mean. Nothing on this page improves anyone's chance of winning. Every draw is independent, and a fair game cannot be beaten by studying it. We publish these results because they are true, including the parts that work against our own product.

Every figure here is computed by script from the record named on this page — none of it is typed in by hand — so anyone with the same source can recompute it and get the same answer. Woozul publishes findings that work against its own product, including the finding that hot numbers do not stay hot.
